At the Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW Specialty under Breeder Judge Wendy Willhauck (USA) the Kataku gang had a fantastic day with the following results:

Kataku Mystic River (AI)
Best Junior in Show
Kataku Highlander (AI)
Best Neutered in Show
Kataku Diamond Lil wins Junior Bitch class at Melbourne Royal show and then at the Alaskan Malamute Club of Victoria Championship show wins Best Junior in Show under Judge Mr Tony Syme.
Weight Pull Events
24 September 2005 - Kataku Avalanche won the weight pull outright pulling 727kg, not bad for a dog who was at his third weight pull and only needs one more leg to is WWPD and already has one leg to his excellent title.
2006 Highlights
Kataku Diamond Lil is back in the showring and has taken out four best Junior in group awards along with Best Junior in Show at the Australia Day International Dog Show.Puppies Debut - April/May 2006
Kataku Rain N Fire (Ernie) won Best Baby in Group at his first show and on the same day his sister Kataku All Fired Up (Latifah) went Best Baby in Show in Sydney with her new owners Sam and Paul Glasheen (both All Breeds Champ shows).
Kataku Firestorm (Thor) was awarded best Baby in Show at the Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW Specialty.
Frankston &
Kataku Firestorm (Thor) was awarded dog challenge and RUBOB to his big sister with his brother Kataku Rain N Fire (Ernie) winning best Minor Puppy in Group at Western Suburbs Champ Show.
Kataku Firestorm (Thor) was awarded Best Puppy in Group at East Gippsland Kennel Club followed by winning Puppy of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show and then being placed in the top 4 for Best Puppy in Group.
Kataku Firestorm (Thor) was awarded Best Puppy in Group –and his big sister Ch Kataku Diamond Lil was awarded BOB and then Best Exhibit in Group. At Thor's last show for 2006 he also won Best Puppy in Group at Maryborough & District Kennel Club.
Weight Pull Events 2006
June 2006 - Kataku Avalanche is still undefeated in our Alaskan Malamute Club of Victoria weight pulls winning the last three with the highest weight pulled and the best weight to ratio. Last weight pull the American Bulldog beat Avalanche for weight to ratio.
2007
Kataku Fire Storm (AI) (Thor) sure caused a storm in 2007:
What a year Thor and Clare Tyler his handler have had a fantastic year with a bit of help from Thor's stand in handlers.

Plus multiple Best in Groups and class in group and in show awards.
Thor, Ernie and Latifah all gained there Australian Championships in tough competition.
Kataku Avalanche wins the Alaskan Malamute Club of Victoria weight pull pointscore again.
Our new kids hit the show ring with force.
